With a career spanning more than five decades in the construction arena, Mike Andrew has extensive and invaluable national and international experience and diverse knowledge across all sectors of the industry. Over the years his strengths have been honed in construction cost planning and budget control, where providing accurate construction cost information from preliminary project information is critical to the decision-making process. He is skilled in negotiating trades prices in order to meet budgets. An associate member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors for 30 years, Mike commenced his career in the UK as a cadet Quantity Surveyor before progressing to Estimating Manager. He has worked for some of the world’s largest building contractors on major projects in the Middle East and South Africa along with top-tier contractors and Quantity Surveyors in Australia.
As Development Coordinator at Central Real, Tamara Astudillo provides valuable assistance to the Development and Project Management teams. With a decade of experience in the facilities management industry, Tamara has a proven ability to deliver measurable business development results by drawing upon her broad range of skills. She also possesses the know-how to work with data with accuracy and focus. Well-versed in the defence sector, financial transactions, procedure development, stakeholder liaison and leadership, Tamara is an ambitious, passionate and results-driven individual who’s both reliable and adaptable. As a hard-working, hands-on team player, she’s able to understand the wider picture and takes a proactive approach to her role, making her an asset as the company grows and expands.
Sales & Marketing Coordinator
Ashleigh Barnett brings an energetic, enthusiastic approach to her role as Sales & Marketing Coordinator within the growing Central Real team. Ashleigh’s commitment to a high standard of customer service was honed after spending many years living overseas working in the travel industry before following her passion into real estate in 2010. Now, with extensive property sales and marketing experience behind her, Ashleigh has an intimate understanding of the local property market and its people and a devotion to the area. She prides herself on providing an outstanding calibre of client care and has a driven determination to build and maintain strong working relationships, with the goal of creating clients for life.
Having been around the construction industry most of his life, it was inevitable that Sam Eden would commence his career in construction after being awarded a Collegiate Scholarship to Bond University. He began working for a hydraulic contractor before moving into the retirement/aged living sector for the largest private owner/operator of retirement villages in Australia. Sam later became an estimator for one of the most successful fit-out/refurbishment companies in NSW, tendering high-end projects across the commercial, industrial, education and health sectors, before joining the team at Central Real.
Having always appreciated the built form from a young age, Peter Holt went on to pursue tertiary qualifications in both Construction Management and Architecture at the University of Newcastle.He commenced his career in the mining industry in 2011 before moving into the commercial sector, completing projects ranging from education to health and aged care developments. Working on a diversity of developments has allowed Peter to be involved in a various range of project delivery methods. Now, working on the construction of high-rise luxury residential apartments has provided him with an exciting challenge to deliver projects on multiple interfaces that are pushing the progression of the construction industry in the region.
Alex Mitchell’s father was in construction so he grew up around the building world. After completing an apprenticeship and graduating from university with a degree in Construction Management, Alex followed the path less travelled, working in remote areas of Australia before transferring to the Sydney CBD where he worked on some of the city’s most technically demanding and well-known architectural façade projects. Now as a Contracts Administrator at Central Real, Alex enjoys being part of the forward-thinking, innovative team responsible for the ongoing delivery of multiple high-end, challenging and complex projects across the growing Central Coast region.
Greg has a proven track record in the successful delivery of construction projects, maintaining accountability and integrity throughout. His intimate knowledge of the construction industry coupled with his degree in civil engineering facilitates effective design development, with meticulous consideration given to successful construction outcomes. Passionate about the Central Coast, Greg ensures that careful process management achieves quality projects that benefit not only buyers but also the broader community.
As a Project Manager for Central Real, Noel Harland puts to use the diverse skills and insightful knowledge he has acquired throughout the four decades he’s spent working his way up through the building and construction industry. During his carpentry joinery apprenticeship, Noel worked for a leading Sydney builder and after completion he started his own building business undertaking extensions and renovations. He then diversified into maintenance and defect rectification work for commercial builders and was later invited to supervise the restoration of a number of heritage homes and buildings in Newcastle, further honing his expertise. In 2010 Noel was approached by a Central Coast builder to help manage numerous projects in rural NSW, which ultimately led to a Supervisor position overseeing the construction of new homes in the Newcastle area. This culmination of broad industry experience makes him an invaluable asset to Central Real.
Aidan has an intimate knowledge of the intricacies and complexities of the design and construction process. He’s passionate about working with industry experts to bring outstanding projects to fruition. Exceptionally well acquainted with the Central Coast and its unique local market, Aidan received the Young Business Executive Award for Erina/Gosford City Chamber of Commerce in 2013. Working in the industry for about a decade, he has a Bachelor of Construction Management to his name. Aidan’s insight into the important foundations of project management are an invaluable asset to the company, and his meticulous planning and risk management skills have resulted in the successful delivery of more than $55m worth of construction projects.
Corporate Counsel Zoe Ramsay provides invaluable comprehensive legal and HR support to the Central Real Group. With an early foundation in property and commercial law, Zoe’s recent focus has been on corporate law, land access and business development in connection with the mining and resources sector, ensuring she’s a major asset to the team. While appreciating Central Real’s risk management imperatives, Zoe’s advice is given with an eye on the group’s underlying values of quality, integrity and innovation. She works to strategically capitalise on the immense opportunities that the growth and development of the region brings for the company.

Born and raised on the Central Coast, Mark has more than 25 years of experience working with Tier 1 companies in the construction industry. He has successfully delivered a diverse range of significant projects across Australia in both hard dollar contracting and integrated design and construction property developments. This invaluable experience has enabled him to build a strong foundation of technical knowledge and develop the management and leadership skills needed to transform, shape and build an environment in which teams can thrive. As General Manager Design & Construction, Mark has the opportunity to make a positive impact on the local construction arena by creating unique properties that enhance their surroundings and contribute to the growth and development of the region. This is vitally important to him given that he and his family are entrenched in the Central Coast community.

The Founder of Central Real, Tony Denny is a successful entrepreneur who recognises the enormous potential of the Central Coast. His numerous property development sites are testament to his unwavering belief in the region. Tony spent decades in Eastern Europe establishing his company AAA Auto from the ground up. Through hard work and astute business acumen the company experienced exponential growth before being taken public and finally being sold to private equity. Further highlighting his passion for the Central Coast, Tony established the internationally renowned Gosford Classic Car Museum, one of the largest privately owned car collections in the world.
Appointed Central Real’s Chief Executive Officer in 2015, Richard is responsible for the set up and operation of the Central Coast’s most active property development and construction company, taking it from concept to a market-leading force in just a few years. As a respected industry identity known for his leadership expertise, Richard has extensive experience in strategic property investment, development, acquisition and divestment. His hands-on approach ensures only the premier sites are sourced and developed to complement their surroundings. Richard’s passion for the area and its growth as a regional centre is at the forefront of his focus. His significant achievements include the design and development of more than 300 apartments across a variety of projects.
With over 20 years experience in accounting in national and international firms across various industries, our Finance Manager, Karen Evans leads our Accounts team responsible for the financial operations for the Denny Group in Australia including Central Real and Central Construct businesses. Karen joined the business in early 2016 and has been an integral part of the Senior Management team looking after the overall financial health of the business as it experiences its rapid growth. In her spare time along the way, Karen has also managed to obtain a real estate licence, a diploma in mortgage broking and bought, renovated & sold 9 investment properties.

Alan brings extensive development and management experience to Central Real combining this with a passion for the Central Coast as a unique and special place to live, work and enjoy. Working with major companies, Alan has managed a diverse range of landmark property projects both within Australia and overseas. Experience with both the government and private sectors has enabled Alan to successfully deliver complex projects from initial planning through to completion. Teamwork, passion and a commitment to excellence underpin Alan’s approach to success. With over 35 years’ experience Alan has a widely respected record of achievement.
Senior Construction Project Manager
Richard brings a wealth of all-round construction project and site management experience to his Project Manager role with Central Real. A building and engineering background coupled with formal project management training and expertise make him perfectly suited to his challenging and dynamic role. Having successfully managed major retail, high-rise, institutional, educational and residential projects both in Australia and overseas for Tier 1 builders, he’s an accomplished professional with an intimate industry insight.

After travelling the world and finishing an Electrical Engineering degree, Brendan entered the construction industry in 2003. Throughout his career he has worked on a number of landmark projects within the Sydney CBD totalling some $1 billion in construction value. Brendan appreciates the uniqueness of the development and construction industry, which often brings diverse stakeholders together to deliver unified results. With a strong passion for environmentally sustainable design and development coupled with an eye for detail, Brendan is excited to be part of the fastest-growing development company in the region.
Senior Development Manager
A property all-rounder with over 35 years experience in design, construction, real estate and development. Peter’s passion for development was sparked at an early age having grown up visiting constructions sites and gaining an appreciation for the finer points of design and construction observing his architect builder father. A naturally inquisitive and adventurous outlook lead to Peter starting the design and project management division for Jones Lang LaSalle in Asia, the first time these services had ever been offered anywhere in the world by a real estate services multinational corporation. Peter returned to Australia over 20 years ago and since then has directed and developed a variety of high end residential and mixed-use developments working with the best local and international designers. A career highlight was securing the services of and working closely with the international Design lcon Philippe Stark and his team at Yoo. Peter has a Bachelor of Building Degree from UNSW, holds a full builders licence(NSW) and is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Managers.
Group Executive Coordinator
Reporting to the Group CEO, Emma Kennedy brings a high level of dedication and organisation to her role as Group Administrator for both the Central Real and Central Construct teams. With more than 10 years of experience in customer service, sales, HR and office management, Emma’s extensive experience extends across all areas of the business. Tenacious by nature, if Emma doesn’t have an answer to something immediately you can rest assured she’ll make it her business to solve it promptly. Highly process driven with a can-do attitude, one of Emma’s greatest strengths is making sure she keeps the team in line. She ensures that systems are implemented efficiently and policies and procedures are adhered to, guaranteeing that everyone and everything is running smoothly within the organisation.
Marketing & PR
Rhiana is a highly driven, determined and enthusiastic professional with a proactive approach to her role. She spent six years in brand management and sales for international luxury car and audio brands, honing her skills and insight. Enjoying a challenge, she finds great satisfaction in exceeding clients’ expectations. Not one to rest on her laurels or accept mediocrity, Rhiana always pushes the limits. Having grown up on the Central Coast before living in London and Sydney, she has recently moved back to the Central Coast appreciating the enormous potential of the region for its investment opportunities and that ever-elusive work / life balance.
Customer Relationship Officer
Melissa joined the Central Real team after more than a decade of invaluable experience in residential real estate. Born and raised on the Central Coast, she has an extremely thorough knowledge of the region and a strong understanding of how the area has developed over the years. Having also come from a fitness background, working as a personal trainer, Melissa brings immense enthusiasm and energy to her role as Customer Relations Officer. Her combined skills give her the ability to communicate with her clients effectively and provide the highest level of customer service.
As Contract Administrator with Central Real, Natalia Brennen diplomatically liaises between contractors and clients, facilitating the timely flow of information to enable successful completion of each project, including review and observation of the construction process. With broad experience in the construction of high-rise residential projects, Natalia is skilled in managing a heavy workload from concept to completion.
With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Nathan Cleverly now draws on his diverse skills and knowledge in his role as Central Reals Finishes Manager. He previously spent eight years with a major construction company, managing post completion works on commercial projects ranging in value from $1-$25 million. Nathan started his career as an apprentice carpenter before completing his dry wall plastering qualifications. Operating his own successful plastering company for more than a decade, he worked on both commercial and residential projects.
Ben James brings a wealth of industrial construction project and site management experience to his Project Manager role with Central Real. A mechanical engineering background coupled with formal project management training and expertise in professional services allows him to meaningfully engage with stakeholders at all levels. Ben has proven delivery capabilities against tight timelines in diverse sectors such as retail, food, pharmaceutical and chemical. He skilfully manages multi-disciplined teams to undertake complex infrastructure and construction work packages, incorporating machinery installation, commissioning and handover. Showcasing his talent for monitoring performance against milestones, he ensures no detail is overlooked. Ben draws great satisfaction from achieving a client’s vision, developing resourceful solutions throughout the project lifecycle in order to overcome any scope changes and challenges along the way.

Such is Tony’s enthusiasm for the area, he chose to indulge his other passion, classic cars, by creating the Gosford Classic Car Museum, one of the world’s largest of its kind. The venture highlights his belief in the region as a wonderful place to live, visit and enjoy, with plenty of recreational attractions to keep people entertained.
