Introducing the Central Real Crusaders

The Central Coast Crusaders will compete in the newly formed Waratah Tier 1 League, which will see the Crusaders Men’s and Women’s teams compete at an elite level against teams that include the Sydney Metropolitan and regional teams. The Waratah Tier 1 League is the highest level of competition for Basketball in NSW, which provides a unique opportunity for sport on the Central Coast.

Central Coast Basketball’s General Manager, Mick Ryan says “We are extremely proud that we are able to offer a pathway for players on the Central Coast, starting at the grass roots level. This is an exciting time for the sport of Basketball on the Central Coast we can’t wait to work closely with the amazing team at Central Real, as the naming sponsor of our Senior Representative Basketball program”.

Central Real is a company born on the Central Coast and owner Tony Denny is extremely passionate about unlocking the true potential that the Central Coast has to offer. Choosing to live and invest in the Central Coast shows Tony’s commitment and passion to the region and his contributions extend far beyond his luxury apartment buildings which include the recently completed ‘Elysium’ development at Terrigal; as well as ‘Icon’, ‘Vue, ‘Aqua’ and ‘Scenic’ at Gosford, ‘Peninsula’ and ‘Marina’ at Point Frederick.

With a shared passion and vision for the Central Coast, it seemed organic that a partnership was born between Central Coast Crusaders and Central Real.

Central Real CEO, Richard Ellis says “As a local company committed to the Coast, supporting our community is extremely important to us. The Central Coast Crusaders will be competing at the top of their league and we’re extremely proud to be part of their journey as they represent the Central Coast in this next level of elite competition.”
